“Great South of Morocco” is a truly authentic journey to discover the south of the country. This 4x4 route takes us to Marrakech , a city full of color , dotted with artisans and artists , wonderful squares , and aromas that will mark our memories. From the city, we continue towards the High Atlas , discovering the landscapes as we go. We leave the mountains to reach the Great Erg Chebbi Desert , a spectacle for the senses , with endless dunes and that magical aura that will allow us to spend an unforgettable night under the stars . The road takes us through such original places as the villages of Rissani , with its ancestral market , Lake Aguelmane Sidi Ali or Ifrane , Little Switzerland , and its Giant Cedar forests , until we reach Fez . Its Medina , the envy of the Arab world, is a beautiful labyrinth where you can get lost buying a souvenir of your stay in Morocco .

Day 1 of the itinerary
Arrival in Marrakech
- Departure from the airport of origin towards Marrakech .
- Arrival in Marrakech. (Depending on the time of year, there may be a time difference.)
- Pick up at the airport and transfer to the Riad in the Medina or 5* Hotel .
- Accommodation.
- Depending on your arrival time , we recommend a first contact with the Medina by visiting the incomparable Djemaa el-Fna Square .

Day 2 of the itinerary
Marrakech, aromas and craftsmanship
- In the morning , walking tour of the Medina of Marrakech with a local guide .
- We will admire the Koutoubia Minaret , twin of the Giralda in Seville .
- We will visit the Bahia Palace .
- We will walk through the narrow streets of the Souk , where we will be able to see different artisans :
- Weaving carpets
- Making slippers
- And discovering an quality craftsmanship
- Stop at a Berber pharmacy , where they will reveal some of their traditional secrets .
- Departure to Djemaa el-Fna Square to enjoy its daytime atmosphere , which is very different from that of the night.
- In the afternoon , free time for:
- Putting the art of haggling
- Discover the most authentic corners of the Medina at our own pace
- Accommodation in a Riad in the Medina or a 5* Hotel .
Day 3 of the itinerary
Heading to the Central High Atlas and Dades Valley
- Departure in a 4x4 vehicle with a driver Central High Atlas area .
- Long stage (approx. 310 km ) but with spectacular landscapes .
- Crossing the Tizi-n'Tichka , the highest mountain pass in the country.

- Visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou ,

Day 4 of the itinerary
From the Central High Atlas to the Desert
- In the morning, we will head out along the trails to the depths of the Central High Atlas , with spectacular landscapes .
- Visit Berber villages such as Boutaghrar time seems to have .
- Tour through mountains , canyons , valleys and caves nomads still live .
- Route through the Dades Valley to its gorges , with a stop at the viewpoint for tea .
- Visit the curious rock formations known as the “monkey paws” .
- In the afternoon, continue to Tinerhir , a small and prosperous town with beautiful palm groves and pink houses .
- Walk through the impressive Todra Gorges , following the course of the river .

Day 5 of the itinerary
Adventure in the Erg Chebbi Desert
- Full day of Total Desert , touring one of the Dakar Rally tracks .
- Visit to desert villages and nomads
- Stop at the Marine Fossil Quarries , over 360 million years old.
- Picnic lunch .
- Arrival at the Great Erg Chebbi , the Desert of Dunes of the finest sand .
- Change from 4x4 vehicle to Dromedaries , to enter the heart of the dunes .
- Contemplation of an unforgettable sunset .
- Arrival by dromedary at the Bivouac de Luxe and accommodation in traditional Haimas , like those used by nomads .
- Accommodation and dinner under the stars in a magical and unique .
Day 6 of the itinerary
Sunrise in the Dunes and Relaxation at Kasbah Xaluca
- “Date with the Dawn” : It is advisable to get up early to walk to the top of the dunes and see the sunrise .
- Bedouin breakfast in the desert.
- Car route around the Erg Chebbi to the abandoned village of Merdani .
- Visit to the Sudanese village of Khamlia , where we will enjoy traditional dances and mint tea .
- Excursion to Rissani * to discover its traditional market , a supply point for desert tribes and nomads.
- Stop at a natural viewpoint with spectacular views to say goodbye to the desert .
- Return to Kasbah Xaluca and free afternoon to relax .
- Possibility of enjoying the heated pool , jacuzzi , tennis , mini golf optionally booking a hammam or massage .
- For the more adventurous, there is the option of going out on Quads through the dunes ( optional activity ).
- Chauffeur-driven vehicles will be available in the afternoon for local sightseeing or a stroll around Arfoud .

Day 7 of the itinerary
From the Desert to Lake Aguelmane Sidi Ali
- Departure in the morning heading north , crossing the spectacular Ziz Valley home to over ten million palm trees
- We leave the desert and begin the ascent through the Atlas Mountains , enjoying breathtaking landscapes .
- Cross the city of Midelt until you reach Aguelmane Sidi Ali , an enclave located at 2,200 meters above sea level , on the shores of the deepest natural lake in the country .
- Lunch at the Hotel Xaluca Spa Aguelmane Sidi Ali .
- In the afternoon, time to enjoy nature :
- Walk around the lake .
- Climb to the crater of a nearby volcano.
- Visit to a nomadic family .
- We can also relax in the hotel facilities :
- Heated pool.
- Optional spa and hammam services .
- Accommodation and dinner at the Xaluca Spa Aguelmane Sidi Ali , a refuge built in 1935 and recently restored to offer a charming evening .
Day 8 of the itinerary
From Aguelmane Sidi Ali to Fez and back home
- Early morning departure towards Fez .
- I pass through Ifrane , known as “Little Switzerland” for its architecture and surroundings.
- Crossing the Giant Cedar Forests , where, if we are lucky, we can feed a colony of wild monkeys .
- Arrival in Fez.
- In the afternoon, a guided walking tour of the old Medina of Fez , one of the most authentic and best preserved in the Arab world:
- Tour through its labyrinthine medieval streets .
- Discover craft centers , mosques and palaces amidst the local hustle and bustle .
- At the agreed time , transfer to Fez airport to catch the return flight .
- Note: Last day with 4x4 vehicle .

- The prices shown are calculated based on the occupancy of the 4x4 vehicle or vehicles used throughout the entire journey.
- The cost of transport is divided among the number of occupants at any given time.
- Accommodation conditions
- Rates based on double and triple rooms .
- Single room supplement: 550 €.
- Discount for children (3 to 11 years old) sharing a room with a minimum of two adults:
- €335 in low season.
- €355 in high season.
- Due to high occupancy on some dates and the small size of the riads , if the budgeted riad accommodations are fully booked suitable alternatives will be proposed , which may involve previously informed price variations
- There is also the option of staying in hotels , where availability is greater .
- Guides and drivers
- During peak season , local guides in the Medinas may be shared with other travelers .
- Spanish-speaking drivers are limited and their availability is reduced , so it is recommended to book well in advance .
- The trip is made in a 4x4 vehicle with a driver simple and hospitable people who will make the journey more pleasant and enjoyable .
- Official guides are reserved exclusively for visits to the Medinas , not for the routes .
- Travel requirements
- It is mandatory to travel with a passport valid for a minimum of 3 months from the date of return from Morocco .
- Optional activities
- Quad bike tour (optional): €70 per vehicle , 1 hour circuit .
- For spa treatments or massages , you can book directly at the hotel reception .
- Terms and conditions of contract
- To confirm the reservation , it is essential to meet the following requirements :

- Complete the registration form . If your passport needs to be updated, you can send it later .
- Payment for the trip:
- Payment can be made by bank transfer or Visa card , following the procedure below:
- 30% of the total amount at the time of booking .
- The remaining 70% must be paid up to 30 days before departure .
- Specific flight conditions:
- If the chosen flight requires immediate issuance , it will be necessary to pay 100% of the ticket price at the time of booking , plus 30% of the ground services .
- Trip cancellation fees
- All cancellations that occur :
- 45 days before departure , they will have a 30% expense .
- 21 days before departure , they will have 100% of expenses .
- All cancellations that occur at any time , once the booking has been confirmed , will have a penalty of 50 euros per booking as a management fee .
